# How do I create an unavailable time slot in my calendar?

## Creating an unavailable time slot in the healthbank calendar

Follow these steps to create an unavailable time slot in your calendar:

1. On your **Dashboard**, click the **list view** icon above the calendar

2. Hover your cursor between appointment/available times in the calendar and you'll see a black line.

3. Click when you see the black line.
4. Click **Make unavailable**.

5. Select the date, start time and end time of the slot you wish to make unavailable or toggle on "**All day**" to make yourself unavailable for the whole day.

6. Enter a description (optional).
7. Click **Confirm**.
