[Clients & health records](https://help.healthbank.io/clients-health-records?hsLang=en) October 15, 2026 # How do I connect my wearable device? ## Connect your wearable in Settings \> Connections and your data syncs to your Health Record automatically. Connect your wearable and your activity, sleep, heart rate and other health data flows into your Health Record automatically. You can also choose to share it with your practitioner, so they can see it alongside your notes and test results. Only clients can connect a wearable. Your practitioner can't connect one for you. **Supported devices:** Garmin, Oura, Apple Health and Google Fit. More brands are coming soon. ### Connect a device 1. Log in to HealthBank and go to **Settings \> Connections**. You can also select **Connect device** on your dashboard, or open a category in your Health Record, such as Sleep or Activity. 2. Choose your device from the list. 3. Sign in to your device account (for example, your Garmin or Oura account) and allow HealthBank to access your data. 4. You'll come back to HealthBank. Your data can take a little while to appear the first time. 5. Choose whether to share your wearable data with your practitioner. **Apple Health** connects through the HealthBank app on your iPhone, not the website. ### Stop sharing your data To disconnect a device, go to **Settings \> Connections** and switch it off. Data that has already synced stays in your Health Record. ### Data not updating? Disconnect the device and connect it again. If it still doesn't sync, chat with us and we'll help.
