HealthBank's payout process

Getting paid with HealthBank

When you register as a practitioner with HealthBank, you’ll be asked to complete your profile. As part of this process, you must provide your bank account details so we can pay you.

To receive payments, please provide:

  • Bank account name

  • BSB

  • Account number

If these details are not provided, we won’t be able to process your payments.

Payments are processed weekly on Thursdays. Funds usually appear in your bank account on the next business day, but please allow 24–48 hours for clearance. You’ll also receive a remittance advice for your records, covering all appointments included in that week’s payment.

You can view your pending payout details by clicking **Payouts** in the sidebar. Your dashboard payout widget will also show your upcoming payment, including the amount and expected payment date.

If you need to update your bank account details at any time, go to:

Settings > Business & Billing > Bank Account

HealthBank charges a $1 booking fee on top of the practitioner’s appointment fee, which is paid by the client. If the client chooses to pay by credit card, Stripe transaction fees apply: 1.7% + A$0.30 for domestic cards and 3.5% + A$0.30 for international cards.

If a client has added their card on file, they will be automatically charged 24 hours before the appointment.

Your recipient-created tax invoice (RCTI)

HealthBank creates the invoice for every appointment and collects payment from your client automatically. Each weekly payout comes with a recipient-created tax invoice (RCTI): a tax invoice HealthBank issues on your behalf for the services you've been paid for. You don't need to raise invoices or chase payments, and there's little or no bookkeeping for client payments.

Keep your RCTIs and remittance advice for your tax records, and share them with your accountant.
