How do I set up online claiming through Tyro Health?

To submit Medicare or private health claims through HealthBank using Tyro Health, you’ll need to set up a new provider location number via your PRODA account.

Step 1: Log in to PRODA

Log in using your PRODA credentials.

Step 2: Access HPOS

  1. Under My linked services, click Go to service in your HPOS


  2. Select My details


  3. Click My provider numbers

Step 3: Create a New Provider Location

  1. Click Create a new provider location

  2. Read and accept the privacy notice

  3. Click Next

Step 4: Enter Location & Contact Details

Complete the fields as prompted.
You’ll be asked to provide:

📍 Location details

Use HealthBank’s organisation details:

  • Organisation: HealthBank

  • Address:
    85 William Street
    Darlinghurst, NSW 2010

  • Location ID / Minor ID: PAO 00761

  • Enter HealthBank's ABN: 98604489063

⚠️ Important: Make sure you are creating a NEW LOCATION, not updating an existing one.

Step 5: Complete Remaining Sections

Continue through the remaining steps:

  • Contact details

  • Start date (choose a date that suits you)

  • Banking details - enter HealthBank's bank details

    • HealthBank Technologies Pty Ltd

    • BSB: 062692

    • Acc: 37783623

  • Declaration and acknowledgement

Click Submit location once complete.

Step 6: Wait for Approval

  • Approval typically takes around 24 hours

  • You’ll receive a confirmation letter from Services Australia once approved

Step 7: Send Us Your Confirmation Letter

Once approved, please email your confirmation letter (PDF) to:

Our team will then:

  • Add your provider number to Tyro Health

  • Enable you for online claiming

✅ This step is required before you can submit Medicare or private health claims through HealthBank.
